Cindy LeBauer, AMFT

For more than ten years, I have been working with clients to manage their anxiety and depression, shame and self-esteem struggles, relationship challenges, parenting issues, career and life transitions, as well as trauma and loss. My goal is to help my clients gain insight into their behavior and the behavior of others, teach them to better manage their emotions and facilitate the development of tools that leave them feeling more empowered.

I know that change is possible - in ourselves, in our relationships and in our lives. And, I find helping clients to process and learn from their past experiences and to develop new ways of thinking is both challenging and exciting. I particularly love seeing my clients try on a new approach to an old problem or express the satisfaction of resisting old triggers. While always seeking to incorporate evidence-based practices into sessions, I also draw on my lived experience navigating multi-generational family dynamics, family health issues, raising children and changing careers. This has shaped my understanding of the many challenges people face and contributed to my desire to help people through difficult times in their lives.

I am an Integrative Therapist, which means that I have an individualized and holistic approach to therapy. Working with both individuals and couples, I like to tailor the process to a client’s specific needs, using a variety of theories including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment theory and Positive Psychology. I know that choosing a therapist isn’t easy. What I can tell you is that I will provide a safe space for you to be seen and heard, where you can process what comes up in a compassionate and collaborative way. If this sounds interesting to you, please reach out for a free 15-min consultation.
